Yesterday I went on a bike ride and not only did I discover a proper cycle path, not sure where it actually goes to, must do more exploring. I also discovered fields full of flowers with a sign saying they are free and pick them yourself!
Yes please! I didn't have scissors with me so when Ebi-kun got back from school we went together to pick the flowers...
I love the autumn and the skies that we get, clear blue skies in the day and amazing sunsets, not of big fan of being out on the bikes when it starting to go dark though.
Very happy with my enormous vase full of beautiful flowers! In Japanese they are called cosmos but I don't know if that is the English name, I'm not very good when it comes to plants!
Have you received an unexpected gift recently? Please share...
Yes, they are called Cosmos in English too. As to why, there is one story here - http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/archives/parsons/flowers/cosmos/cosmos.html along with photos of some pretty and unusual varieties. (At least I haven't seen them before!)
