And strangely enough, so does Ebi-kun, not regular tea, he likes the (caffeine free) flavoured teas. Anyway, I occasionally get asked by companies to try something out and write a review on it, this time it was tea made by Higher Living. They sent us a selection to try.
Ebi-kun really liked the Ginger Kick - he said it was like doing karate in your throat - this is obviously a good thing because he asked for more!
Daddy Ebi was all over the cinnamon tea, I quite liked this one too, I am usually a fan of the fruity teas but this would be nice on a cold night.
There were a few others that we tried, Very Berry was lovely, Vitality, Hibiscus, Evening but the hands down number one favourite was....
Licorice!
Daddy Ebi doesn't like the sweets made from licorice (we are not complaining, more for me and Ebi-kun!) but he did like this tea. It is surprisingly quite sweet and easy to drink. I will be ordering more of this for sure! Looking through the list, I have my eye on the Sweet Chilli and the Sweet Chai too.
You can buy the teas from the higher living website and some of the blends are available in Asda, Tesco, Holland & Barrett, Planet Organic, Wholefoods, online and a range of independent retailers across England and Scotland.
They look yum! Meg and I like a cup of tea too!
ReplyDeleteVery intrigued by liquorice
it's lovely, I will have to order some more soon or we will be fighting over the last teabag lol
DeleteLicorice tea? Really??? Wow. That is one I would never think of trying without hearing it is good first. Thanks!
