Ahem, I have had a bit of a kitchen incident! I somehow managed to put the hot tagine onto a small ziplock bag which then melted onto the bottom of the pan! I have managed to pull some of it off but there is quite a bit still welded to the pan. Any ideas on how to save my pan?
If you froze it, would it chip off?
ReplyDeleteOr failing that, take it outside and burn it off with a lighter or something? Would stink to high heaven though.

Me? I would take it outside and make a bbq and just burn it off.

ReplyDeleteI once accidently dissolved a plastic nail brush when I used it with white spirit to scrub paint off my hands. The brush snapped in half and then crumbled as I used it. I wonder if white spirit would react similarly with the ziplock plastic...
