Happy New Year!

I hope you enjoyed your new year celebrations, whatever they entailed. We headed for the mountains for a few days of snow fun. We got there around lunch time so after we had eaten we headed out to the play area, there was a lot of sledging and inner tube racing...

Lots and lots of snowball fighting, that gadget daddy-ebi has make perfect snowballs and he mastered the art of making about 200 a minute!

Of course we had to build a  snowman...

At the bottom of the play area was an inflatable elephant and other play equipment...

We has a quick beer/coffee break, a lot of the buildings were very retro looking, well that is the polite way of saying they look like they were built in the 60's and 70's and haven't had much done to them since.

Then it was back out for another snowball fight, the boy wouldn't quit!

Then the sun started to set and we were booted out of the play area...

Which is where we left the elephant to go to sleep (looks like he has been on the beer if you ask me!)
