A Question....

I know this is a Christmas question and that is done and dusted with but I just have to know! When we were talking at one of the parties it came to light that our Canadian friend leaves milk and cookies for Santa and the reindeers get carrots and celery, we leave Santa a glass of sherry a mince pie and a carrot for the reindeer. Then a fellow Brit said that they leave whiskey for Santa and an Aussie friend said they leave beer!

So, what I want to know is....

Where are you and what do you leave out for Santa and the Reindeer?

and back to Lego, thank you for all your replies so far. Piling the whole lot in one tub was working when it was bigger Lego but these newer sets have so many small and strange parts that is it is really difficult to find what you want. It is not like the olden day eh? I will let you know what we decide to do...

  1. Here in Cleveland Ohio USA Santa seems to expect milk and cookies! Of course, we leave carrots for the reindeer as well. I'm surprised to discover how much better Santa is doing elsewhere! Thanks for the post!

  5. I'm in Japan like you but in our house, we leave milk and cookies on our table for Santa and a carrot for the reindeer outside. We always make sure to leave some crumbs on the plate and "bite" the carrot to make it look like they were really eaten! lol!

  6. Mince pie and sherry here too, but then I come from the same neck of the woods as you ;-)

  9. I'm in Wisconsin and we always leave milk and cookies for Santa. I forgot the carrots for the reindeer this year, but we always left them when I was a kid. Last year we began sprinkling glitter outside so the reindeer could see the path to our house. The kids loved dumping glitter outside this year...too bad there was no snow this year. It's so much prettier when it's sprinkled on snow!

  11. We are in California and leave cookies and milk but when I was a girl my father insisted that Santa would be tired of all that milk and that we should leave him a glass of wine. Funny he never mentioned Santa getting tired of cookies!
