I have spent the day slaving over a hot cauldron ready for the party tomorrow, apparently the supermarket is running short of eyeballs so I decided on brains instead.....
I wasn't sure if there would be enough brains to go round, so I popped down to the local temple and dug up a nice not-so-fresh severed hand, hmmm delicious!
*there is bound to be someone who asks... the brains are made from annindofu with a spot of pink and brown food colour and a spoonful of strawberry jam stirred in which gives it some of them a aneurysm look to them.
The severed hand is white chocolate with a bit too much pink food colour then I painted it with food gel. Stuck it in a chocolate cake and crushed oreo cookies over the top. YUM!
I have put together my favourite Fun & Fast Ghoulish Halloween Treats into an ebook so you can whip them up at anytime (why just serve ghoulish food at Halloween?)
17 absolutely disgustingly delicious treat ideas...
All fast and fun to make
All pretty healthy, made from kitchen basics
Most of them suitable to make with the kids too
PLUS a bonus labels pack too!
Gruesomly fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHow do you make the brains? Do you have a mould? They look awfully great! :-) Would be fantastic to have such a mould... Let me know if you could buy another one and send it to Switzerland, of course I would pay for it! Have a spook-tactular Halloween! Doris, Babelina & Button
