My new friend is called Mac and she is lovely, she fast and smart but I haven't figured out how to get the printer to work yet, plus numerous other things, a new kind of work-in-progress! My husband ordered the new Photoshop elements since our copy won't run on the new OS but when it arrived it was the Japanese version - Oh No! So, we need to see if we can return it and get the English one. Hopefully it won't be too long before I am up and running and functioning properly again!
I am also running a slight fever, I think the excitement of the new computer yesterday made me forget about it, not sure that trick will work today, hopefully it will clear up and turn out to be nothing, I really don't fancy getting a dreaded lurgy in this weather.
Congratulations on the new computer! It is such a pain to get all the new stuff hooked up, but it will be worth it! Feel better......
ReplyDeletelol..While I was reading your post I tought you met someone called Mac..how funny! Then I realize you were talking about a computer lol.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lot of work get everything set up the way you want eh..good luck.
I'm a total Mac addict and you now all your computer troubles and niggles and issues are now just an email to Sakado away? She's FABULOUS and so generous with her wealth of Appley information.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new Mac JoJo, you are going to be super efficient once you get it up and running! (no, I really mean that!!)
ReplyDeleteHeather- I'm not new to Mac, ever since using one back at until I fell in love, I have only ever owned a mac and I hate using windows machines. Our last mac was dying a death but DH set it up so this is the first time that I have had to set the thing up and there are all these new fangled things like icloud and time machine to figure out!
ReplyDeleteDi - are you implying that I am not already super efficient? the cheek!
