The Treasure Chest

Ebi-kun announced the other day that he wanted to make a treasure chest money box, he had a very specific idea in his head. So, under his instruction I made the box, basically just a box, cut the side flaps into an arch and added the card rounded top, too A LOT of tape to keep it in place.
Once he was happy with it, he set about painting it, I had some work to do so I left him to it, he did a really good job.

As part of his specifications, the money slot was to be the key hole but he wanted it to be a secret chest so you can't open the lid, hmm how to get the money out?

aha! a secret bottom, held on with strip magnets, his mother is a genius!

  1. I love it! It's incredibly creative (oooohhhh, the fake bottom....) and he did an amazing job painting. True team work from concept to execution.
