If you are looking for the Bracelet raffle it is HERE
We we scheduled to have a blackout this afternoon 3.00pm - 7.00pm so I thought it would be best to be prepared and made Ebi-kun's dinner early so I didn't have to worry about cooking. Of course, the blackout never happened but at least his dinner was already prepared and it has been a while since he had a MTD.
From the top left
red and yellow pepper, pasta, senbei (rice cracker) more red and yellow pepper
pineapple, egg, egg, pineapple
ham, mixed dried fruit, konbu (seaweed), carrot flowers
Now, I did have big plans for the egg but it all went wrong, when I boiled it, the shell cracked and some leaked out which meant it was a funny shape once I had peeled it, so I got the food pens out and drew silly faces on them instead - as you do.

I think the funny egg people are cute! Looks like a yummy meal. Hee hee - I was reading the contents of your tin to my (Australian) 4-year-old, and she looked at me and said "What do you mean, seaweed???" I had to explain that some seaweeds can be eaten (and that no, she can't help herself next time we are at the beach!) :o)
ReplyDeleteGlad you missed out of the blackout. I love the eggs too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and colorful tin!
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing. I've never been very good at making Naomi's dinner look pretty. I need to check out these muffin tin dinner posts to see if I can make some.
ReplyDeleteOh and I know it's not much, but for the raffle total, you should add $25 that my husband donated for the ipad cover but never entered in the blog. I'm not sure if that counts, but I figured it might since it was for an item.
This would have been a great lunch for us last week during our Letter P Week. with Peppers, Pineapple, Pasta.. yummy! Love all of the little portions and variety. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely tin! My daughter would love it all except the konbu. I've talked her into trying nori once but she didn't like it.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the egg people are fun! And so are the flower carrots.
