When we went to the lotus pond a couple of weeks ago, we were given some seeds and told to put them in water, we put them in a glass vase to begin with and we couldn't believe how quickly they grew, a good couple of inches a day. When the leaves started to open I moved them to an old frying pan, yesterday I walked past to discover a whole load of animals have moved in!
