I went to a local mall with a friend the other day and found these yummy fabrics, they are linen, I can't decide if the are pure linen or a blend. If you have Meg's book, Sew Liberated you will recognise this as the fabric used in the kids chef hat and apron, she used the blue version. This will be going into the shop this week.
This one though I am smitten with, I'm not sure why and the print is quite big so I have no idea what I would make with it but it just makes me smile.
The cow with the jug on his head cracks me up, what would you make with it?
I think the large print fabric would make an awesome pocket organizer, or sachets, or scented tea cup mats, or potholders, or quilt squares, or or or... :D
ReplyDeleteIf I had even an ounce of sewing ability I would make a kiddy apron :)
ReplyDeletevery yummy looking fabrics! the designs are super cute and whimsical!
ReplyDeleteLOVE EM
ReplyDeleteGreat , fun fabric !
ReplyDeletePatches. Many of them. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the first one too.
count me in for both - how big are the images on the brown one? will you let us know when they're available?
ReplyDeleteJo, I might have a chance to have somebody bring me from the US the Knobless Cylinders and Brown Stairs. If I remember right your material is from IFIT..? Are you satisfied with these items? Does the paint chip? Thank you so much for your help!
ReplyDeletePS OWOH 2010 giveaway has started today. Are you in?
Oh my goodness! I've been trying to teach my boys German, so maybe a matching game or something. Then again, I just love the fabric and don't know if I could bring myself to cut it up! I can't wait for it to hit your shop!
ReplyDeleteOooooh I have that top one in brown. Haven't figured out what to do with it yet :)
ReplyDeletethank you everyone, I have been having internet problems this morning so haven't had chance to list it, maybe later today, if a certain little person decides to have a nap!
ReplyDeleteMCD - with the Ifit equipment, the paint does chip a bit, I think in a classroom the pieces would look shabby very quickly. The non painted pieces i bought have been fine. I noticed the other day that the paint has started to peel on the metal insets too which I am rather annoyed about.
Thanks Jo!
ReplyDeleteI will need it for use at home only.
