operation trapped leg

I forgot to mention that Friday evening Ebi-kun got his leg stuck in his chair. He is looking quite happy in the photo but he was close to tears, luckily I found an allen key that fit so I could take the chair apart, the idea of firemen and big saws did cross my mind though!

  1. My five-year-old son got stuck in the baby swing last week. (He knows he's not supposed to be in there!) I thought I was going to have to cut him out, because I could not pull him out. Finally, I unhooked the swing from the swing set and put him down on the ground where he crawled right out. Thankfully!

  3. Poor Ebi-kun, how scary for him. My sister got her head stuck in the stair rails as a kid. Dad hat to cut her out. Lucky for ebi-kun you were quick thinking (and organised enough to be able to find your allen key!)

  4. My son decided to climb in the doll part of his shopping cart when he was 2 1/2. Of course we were working on potty training so I dreaded having to have firemen help. Thank goodness I was finally able to dislodge him! I are organized being able to find a tool at such a time!

  5. children getting stuck make for great stories, I think out of the 3 of us, only my youngest has got stuck, I was taken to A&E with concussion/possible fractured skull (riding accident) an my little brother tried to get something out of the vending machine by sticking his arm in it and got stuck. My poor mom, I was passing out and vomiting and my brother is screaming with his arm stuck in the machine.
    Those were the days... LOL.

  6. Hardly a meal goes by with out some one sticking their arm or foot in between the chair back slats. Fortunately the eldest now remembers that they are further apart down lower and she can extricate herself usually. Hopefully the other 2 will begin to remember that soon.
