Saturday the weather forecast was good and we didn't have any urgent errands to run so in the morning we decided to go for a picnic. I threw bentos together, packed the picnic blankets, a football and my felt bag and off we went. We went to Shirohama (?) park, which is one of my favourites and it was beautiful. The cherry trees were in full bloom, and there was just enough breeze to make the petals fall, it looked like it was snowing.
We were sat on the grass, you can just see though the arch in the picture. It was lovely, there was hardly anyone else there, so whilst the boys played I sewed, perfect.
Beautiful photos, my dad sent me some lovely photos of the trees too as his girlfriend is from China. I love the blossom they look so pretty. x
