I need more hours in the day!

Or I need to be less ambitious with my presents. I decided to make a Blurb book for someone and it is taking me a LOT longer than I thought, it is almost done and I am aiming to get it finished so I can snag the $10 off deal.
After the usual chores and shopping we got in and Ebi-kun decided he wanted to do some writing. I used the idea of Little-Ns to make a book and label the pictures. We don't have a project on the go at the moment so it will just be a random picture-word book. It is great to help with his cutting skills too, although we nearly had a meltdown when he nearly cut the tail off the plane.
And, yes that is the Christmas tree in the background, I have bullied hubby into buying a decent sized tree now we have a proper house. When I was cleaning on Friday I was trying to figure out where to put it, anyway to cut a long morning short, I ended up moving all furniture around, cleaning far more than I intended to and putting the tree up Oops. The decorations are still in the back of the pantry though, that is a job on tomorrows to-do list.
Back to yesterday, we also made salt dough ornaments and we painted the base colour - lots of orange and aqua for some reason :o). We will decorate them today then we can send some of them off with the presents to people in lands far away.
Ebi-kun is also LOVING the new books, he read books 2, 3 and 4 yesterday and is reading 5 as I type, he sits there laughing to himself when he comes to the 'punchline' in the book, so cute!

  1. okay, sorry several questions... first, I am making a blurb book right now too, where did you get the $10 off coupon and when is it good till?

Secondly, how old is your little one? I am thinking mine is older but still not reading...I have been following your blog for about half a year and I am always amazed at your little one... I try not to compare, because I know it isn't right or fair on my child... but mine doesn't seem even close to reading... just wondering what you did to prepare him. Thanks... feel free to email me with your thoughts... I think you have my email.
