More fabric for the stash

After my Japanese class the other day I dragged poor BabEbi to Yuzawaya, the big (but sadly getting smaller) fabric store. I told him that he could choose some fabric and I would make him some shorts, he picked out two lots...

We both liked this balloon fabric so I am planning his birthday shorts and T-shirt with this in mind

Does this look familiar? He spotted it and demanded the red to go with the blue we already have, so I will have to make something to go with his hat and bag. I can see a nice pair of trousers for autumn, I got a metre of it because it was half price.

Then I spotted this, so cute, I have no idea what I am going to do with it but since it was also reduced I couldn't resist. In fact I did REALLY we and only spent about ¥2000 that included some pens and sketch book too.

We have to buy BabyEbi his birthday present this weekend, I think we will get him a bicycle, we need to take him with us so we can check the size so it won't be such a big surprise. I am making him a few bits and bobs too and he has some books coming, when you ask him what he wants, he says a cream cake ;o)
