The actual move went quite smoothly. Monday was chaos since we had the removal company doing their thing, their aircon engineer came to refit the old aircon, the new aircons had to be fitted, the new washing machine arrived and the old one taken away, and cable, phone and TV men all came to do their bit.
I have managed to unpack most of downstairs, 2 boxes to go and maybe half of upstairs, we need to build BabyEbi's bed but that is a two man job so it will have to wait until the weekend, we are also lacking in the curtain depatment, the ONLY ones we have up are in our bedroom, another job for the weekend.
Well, I have to pop down to the shops before the typhoon hits.....
Welcome to your new home! I'm sure that you will manage the bed building easily. Ask your son to help you ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You must be relieved that's it's (almost!) all over! Hope the typhoon is a mild one...
ReplyDeleteThank You!
ReplyDeleteLuckily the typhoon came over night, very windy and rainy, few broken branches along the road but nothing too serious. I was a tad worried about the houses around us since most are still under construction but everything seems OK. The weather cleared at lunch time and if I knew how to use the new washer I would have the laundry done and hanging out, oh well, another job to add to the weekend list.
